Clive Lewis nominated to the Board of the Civil Mediation Council
We are delighted to confirm that Clive Lewis OBE DL has been nominated to join the Board of the Civil Mediation Council for a three-year term.
The Civil Mediation Council (CMC) is the recognised authority in the country for all matters related to civil, commercial, workplace and other non-family mediation. It was established in the UK in 2003 under the chairmanship of Lord Justice Sir Brian Neill to be the neutral and independent body to represent and to promote civil and commercial mediation as alternatives to litigation and thereby to further law reform and access to justice for the general public The CMC’s mission is to inspire all sectors of society to use mediation when managing and resolving disputes
Clive says, ‘It is an honour to be a part of the Board and I am looking forward to working with my follow mediators to shape the future of mediation in the UK. Thank you to everyone that voted for me’. Clive has been a member of the CMC since 2009 and has previously served as Hon. Secretary and Chair of the Workplace Mediation Committee.
