Workplace Mediation Supervision
A workplace mediation supervision session enables trained mediators to share experience amongst peers and gain expert advice from the facilitator.
Gaining accreditation as a workplace mediator is the start of a lifelong learning process. Although a certificate gives you the ability to actively mediate it is not the end of a mediator’s learning. As workplace mediation becomes increasingly called upon to resolve disputes, cases are becoming more complex. A workplace mediation supervision session enables trained mediators to share experience amongst peers and gain expert advice from the facilitator.
The supervision session gives all delegates a platform to share experiences of cases they have mediated, to hear how other mediator colleagues manage cases and to gain peer and expert support. The facilitator of the session will be one of Globis’ lead workplace mediators and will be able to use examples from their own extensive experience to guide the delegates to enhance their skills and confidence. At the end of the sessions attendees will be equipped new ideas to try, be reminded of best practice standards and have a renewed energy for workplace mediation.
Each session is bespoke to the needs of the group, however content will typically include the following:
The facilitator will be able to flex the content of the session to ensure that the topics raised by the attendees are covered in enough depth to enable practical learning.
This course has been designed for accredited workplace mediators only.
