CONTEXT

Are you increasingly being called upon to conduct workplace investigations?
Do you have concerns that your investigation final report might not stand up to the most stringent scrutiny from an external stakeholder?
Could you benefit from a confidence boosting session on conducting a robust workplace investigation?

This two day course has been developed at the request of line managers to support them in conducting a solid, fair and effective workplace investigation. Employers are spending increasing amounts of resource addressing allegations of bullying, harassment, misconduct or discrimination. It is vital that organisations have access to expert investigators who are able to scope the case and comprehensively manage the whole process through to producing a solid final report.

Aim of the course

This course will equip delegates with the skills and confidence to effectively and safely conduct robust workplace investigations. Designed to offer pragmatic and workable solutions, the session will allow delegates the opportunity to explore all aspects of a workplace investigation, from the wider business context, through the legislative framework to conducting unbiased and productive interviews. The highly interactive workshop will give a solid understanding of all elements of the process with ample opportunity for hands on practice. All of our courses incorporate tutor contact time, group work and case studies to provide transferable learning in a relaxed and positive environment.
