Globis Mediation Group was established in 2003 by Clive Lewis OBE DL. Experts at building better relationships in the workplace we are dedicated to improving working lives. Mediation - Changing the World of Work
CEO, Business Psychologist and Author
Clive Lewis is a business psychologist specialising in employee and industrial relations. He is CEO of the Globis Mediation Group. He is an accredited commercial mediator specialising in helping to solve complex one-on-one, team, organisational, multi-party and collective disputes. He is the author of 14 books. His work has taken him across four continents and has included advising governments outside the UK. He has recently been advising the European Parliament. He is a former Kingfisher Executive. Clive has recently completed six years as a non-exec director in the NHS and currently serves on the Board of the University of the West of England (UWE). He was awarded the OBE for Public Service in the Queen's Birthday Honours List of 2011 and appointed as Deputy Lieutenant of Gloucestershire in 2012. In his spare time, Clive plays the bass guitar.
Jack Fallow was formerly a director in one of the UK's largest utilities company in three different functions - human resources, operations and service engineering. He was founder and chairman of GasForce Ltd, an employee owned business. His special focus areas include mediation, leadership, executive mentoring and coaching. He also has a particular interest in complexity theory and how it contributes to understanding organisations, their structure and values. He is the founder of the Magna Carter Institute. Jack is also a Trustee of the National Youth Jazz Orchestra. Jack was made a professor of Brunel University in 2009.
Training and Development Manager
Helen joined Globis Mediation Group in 2010 following 7 years’ experience within the recruitment sector. Helen holds a BA(Hons) in Linguistics and Sociology, and an MSc in Management from Loughborough University. As training and development manager, Helen manages all training courses and mediations for Globis. She deals with all enquiries, seeing projects through to fruition ensuring client satisfaction at all steps along the way. Helen is an accredited mediator and an assessor for the accredited mediation training programme.
Julie works as Clive’s Executive Assistant having returned to the UK following 10 years in a similar role in Bermuda.
Her background and previous experience has predominantly been within the Criminal Justice and Policing sector where she was involved in strategic planning, conference and event management and all wider office management functions.
Jill joined Globis Mediation Group following a varied career within the Ministry of Defence. Jill has provided Secretariat support to Defence Ministers, strategic management planning to Senior Management Boards, facilities management services across several MOD sites and held HR and Training Manager roles within MOD agencies. Jill is a graduate and a chartered member of the CIPD. As training and development coordinator, Jill provides administrative support to all in-house and open Globis courses.
Paul has far-reaching experience of providing consultancy services to a range of organisations and has worked extensively with Chief Executives, Directors, Senior Managers and Middle Managers across the public, private and not-for-profit sectors. A qualified and experienced mediator, Paul has developed a style that puts parties at ease and encourages results. He has a real passion for delivering organisational development work in the way it should be - with care, a genuine focus on clients' goals and a preparedness to 'go the extra mile' to secure results. With a background in business psychology Paul is able to bring a wealth of viewpoints to his delegates.
Mediator and Mediation Trainer
Nigel is an experienced solicitor specialising in employment law. He has over 30 years’ experience of advising employers and employees on employment disputes, professional negligence, contractual claims and other forms of commercial litigation. In over a decade of mediating he has built up extensive experience of resolving complex cases in areas such as sexual harassment, disability discrimination, race discrimination and breach of contract. Nigel is an experienced trainer whose pragmatic style produces excellent results.

Rachel is a Chartered Member of the CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development) and a qualified mediator with over 10 years’ experience. During her career, Rachel has specialised in employee relations and mediation. She has worked in both the public and private sector, and has won awards for her work. She is dedicated to helping organisations build better relationships in the workplace and her effective, pragmatic style yields great results.
Mediator and Mediation Trainer
John has over twenty years professional experience in human resource and career management, working with diverse stakeholders at different levels in organisations. He has significant experience in both higher education and local government. A Fellow of the CIPD, qualified workplace mediator and careers guidance practitioner, John also uses a range of coaching and psychometric tools to aid people’s development and transition (MBTI, FIRO-B, 16PF). A skilled facilitator, John has a passion for developing people and resolving conflict.

Anna is a strong and respected facilitator, coach and mediator with significant cross-governmental and international development experience. As a strategic thinker, Anna quickly identifies key issues or obstacles and works to build consensus on the way forward. Anna is comfortable and confident engaging at all levels of seniority. A clear communicator, Anna is able to adapt her style to changing contexts and dynamics.
Mediator and Trainer
Emma has a background in law with experience of working for the Ministry of Justice after completing her law degree. Emma has seen first-hand the impact of going through an employment tribunal, and it is this experience that confirmed to her the importance of mediation in the world of work. Emma is an experienced and passionate mediator. She uses her experience to highlight the benefits of mediation and takes great pleasure in facilitating parties to take control of a difficult situation and find a mutually agreeable solution.
Erin is an expert trainer with a background in performance psychology. With an engaging and responsive style, Erin delivers training that really hits the mark whilst providing an enjoyable experience for delegates. With extensive corporate experience, she understands the challenges facing organisations and works in partnership with them to overcome them. Erin’s approach creates powerful, fundamental and measurable results, which ultimately create success. She is passionate about delivering effective and powerful training that really delivers.
