What's a Webinar?

A webinar is a seminar on the web. You simply log in from your desktop PC and enjoy the webinar, which is a live presentation using audio and slides. You listen to the presenters and follow the key points on-screen. When your time’s precious, it’s the ideal way to top up your own learning, or bring your team together to share the experience.

How does it work?

1. From March 2011, Globis webinars are free – to join any of our sessions, please contact Helen Robinson.

2. You’ll be emailed an invitation. To reserve your place, simply respond to the invitation with your name and email address, and you will be sent a link with your unique access code.

3. To enjoy a broadcast, just click on the link – it’s that simply. During the webinar, you’ll be able to email questions to our presenters, and answers will be provided at the end of the session.

4. Each webinar will last about an hour and will be followed by a questionnaire which everyone can complete online for their CPD, worth 90 minutes.

5. Globis will send you reminders of upcoming webinars so you can plan how to use them most effectively.

What if I miss the broadcast?

No problem. Recordings of every webinar will be available to view after the event, so if you miss one you can catch up at your leisure.

You can manage the recording to meet your needs: pause, fast forward, replay. It’s ideal for follow-up sessions with your team, or to illustrate key points at a meeting.
