How to Manage People. A guide for line managers
Evidence suggests that poor management of employees can have detrimental effects on the organisation. Productivity falls, absenteeism and stress rise which all link to rising costs.
It is also said that people don’t leave organisations, they leave people. The line management role is crucial to organisational success. But,
- What are some of the key skills line managers need?
- Where can they find support when needed?
- What can be the impact of a good line manager?
- What support needs to be given to people before they take on line management responsibilities?
This session will focus on the importance of good people management skills within an organisation.
