The HM Courts and Tribunals Service has announced the date for the implementation of fees into the Employment Tribunals (ET) and Employment Appeals Tribunal (EAT). In a letter issued to stakeholders this morning, Monday 29th July 2013 has been published as the ‘go live’ date.
Subject to the necessary Parliamentary approvals, all ET claims and EAT appeals from the employment tribunals to HM Courts and Tribunals service will be liable under the Fees Order and supporting rules to pay a fee.
This is a key development and one where parties may now feel even more compelled to onsider mediation as an alternative to going to an ET in the future.

Globis Mediation Group is delighted to announce the launch of its Workplace Mediation and Conflict Resolution Survey 2013. Globis has continued its tradition of innovation by being the first workplace mediation organisation to launch a survey into the trends and patterns affecting conflict resolution in the UK.
It would help us greatly if you could take the time to complete our short survey. The survey will take no longer than 15 minutes to complete and each participant will be entered into a prize draw to win an iPad! The survey can be found here.
Thank you in advance and we look forward to sharing our findings with you over the upcoming months.
