DTI Workplace Mediation Review

Source: Globis
Date: Thursday, March 29, 2007

In December 2006, the DTI announced a root-and-branch review of systems for resolving disputes in the workplace. Last week, the Review Panel published its consultation report. Notably, two of the recommendations call for the government to ‘repeal the grievance and disciplinary procedures that were introduced in October 2004′ [1] and to ‘challenge organisations to adopt in-house mediation schemes’ [4].
